You don't need to come in knowing the studio's specific dance curriculum. Paid professional training is provided. A Day in The Life of A Dance Instructor Your days will revolve around dancing, teaching, training, developing your technique, and helping students reach their goals. Teach private and group dance lessons Introduce beginning dancers to foundational dance skills Work with students at different experience levels Help students establish dance goals and track their progress Participate in practice sessions Help prepare students for competitions Participate in studio events and competitions Maintain student files related to dance progress As you develop professionally, there may also be opportunities to train other professionals, provide technical coaching, and lead seminars, class series, and dance camps. What We're Looking For Dance professional who can be the lead role in ballroom dancing Dance experience, with 1+ year preferred Strong physical fitness and endurance Passion and enthusiasm for dance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Coachability and willingness to accept feedback Accountability and commitment Ability to work with students of all ages A collaborative, team-oriented approach Ballroom experience is preferred, while experience in other dance styles may be considered for another.
