Duties Facilitate youth group activities, including educational games, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises that promote social skills and personal growth Manage classroom and activity spaces to ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for all participants Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and resolve conflicts effectively Supervise children during various activities, ensuring their safety through attentive child supervision and childcare best practices Lead outdoor work sessions such as camp activities or field trips, adhering to safety protocols including
CPR, AED
operation, and first aid procedures Collaborate with team members to plan age-appropriate programming that aligns with developmental milestones and community goals Maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and activity progress to support program evaluation and continuous improvement Requirements Proven experience working with children or youth in educational, childcare, camp, or recreational settings Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster respectful behavior and positive interactions Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and knowledge of first aid protocols (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Background in special education or experience working with children with diverse needs is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to lead youth programs with enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism Experience facilitating youth group activities such as tutoring, theater productions, or Christian counseling is a plus Outdoor work experience including camp activities or supervising outdoor excursions is preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage children of various ages effectively Team leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and behavior management This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to make a difference in young lives while gaining valuable experience in youth development. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
