You are an experienced proposal preparation professional with a background in Federal/State/Local government environmental business development, specifically addressing solicitations and requests for proposal (RFPs) for Hazardous Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW), Materials and Explosives of Concern (MEC), Material Potentially Presenting an Explosive Hazard (MPPEH) investigations and remediations. You are experienced with implementing the full lifecycle of proposal preparation: in-depth proposal review (Go/No Go); development and oversight of proposal schedules; preparation of proposal sections/requirements; and maintaining communications to ensure ensuring that client needs are addressed and proposal submission is fully compliant with the solicitation/request for proposal requirements. In addition, experience should include preparing project descriptions and resumes to meet proposal needs. What does your day/week look like? You will coordinate, direct and prepare various sections of proposals, including technical, management, cost, and experience sections in response to solicitations and RFPs. You will work with technical staff—including engineers, scientists, and cost estimators—ensuring that writing assignments, schedules and budgets are adhered to. What do you need for this amazing opportunity? An associate or bachelor's degree at an accredited college. A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a proposal group of an environmental consulting/remediation firm. Good written and oral communication skills strong editing and proofreading capabilities, and problem-solving abilities. Experience working in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project.
