The Job Development Specialist is responsible for developing employment opportunities and career pathways for program participants through employer engagement, business development, workforce partnerships, placement services, and retention support. This position serves as the primary liaison between participants and employers, ensuring successful employment outcomes that align with participant strengths, interests, and career goals. The Job Development Specialist actively cultivates employer relationships, identifies workforce opportunities, and promotes disability-inclusive hiring practices. Through strategic outreach and ongoing support, this position assists participants in obtaining and maintaining competitive integrated employment while helping employers meet workforce needs.
