Contract-to-Hire (12 Months) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Military Training & Curriculum Development Specialist to support the development and delivery of training programs for advanced military vehicle platforms. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in military instruction, technical writing, and training development who can operate independently while collaborating across program teams. Key Responsibilities Training Development & Documentation Develop training materials in accordance with government regulations and contract requirements Write, update, and maintain technical documentation, including system procedures, presentations, and training content Update Programs of Instruction (POI) for trainers and military school instructors Ensure all materials align with DA Pam 350-70 and associated training development standards Instruction & Program Delivery Conduct platform instruction for Soldiers, Marines, and New Equipment Training (NET) personnel Support training requirements for newly developed military vehicles Maintain instructor certification for military platform training Systems & Data Management Perform data entry and updates within the Army Training Doctrine Database (TDC) Ensure accuracy and completeness of training records and materials Collaboration & Program Support Work cross-functionally with program teams to ensure training aligns with system capabilities and requirements Contribute to overall program success through collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement Qualifications Required 8-12 years of experience supporting military operations or training programs Bachelor's degree or certification as an Abrams/Bradley Master Gunner Prior experience as an instructor in a formal military school environment (Abrams or Bradley platforms preferred, or similar ground vehicle training) Strong technical writing and presentation skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Familiarity with DA Pam 350-70 and related training development standards Experience developing curriculum and instructional materials for military applications Proven ability to communicate effectively across technical and operational teams Why Join This role offers the opportunity to directly support military training initiatives by developing and delivering impactful curriculum for advanced vehicle systems.
