Job Description

1st Liberty FCU is actively searching for an Training Assistant located in our R.H. Scott branch office, just outside of the gate of Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, MT. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Supporting the job activities of the Trainer. Assists Trainer with staff training and development programs and needs. Facilitate workshops and training sessions. Develop, maintain and find solutions for instructional best practices and meeting the needs of the credit union. Assisting with new hire onboarding experiences. Evaluate and identify training needs throughout the credit union which includes detailed research, problem solving, databases, various reporting and filing. Requirements:
Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience performing teller transactions and account maintenance, opening new accounts and processing consumer loan applications required. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal). Prior experience delivering training to small groups or in a one-on-one environment is required. Must possess demonstrated knowledge of various systems used in retail banking, along with general knowledge of deposit and loan products, banking services, policies, procedures, and regulations in addition to processing and funding consumer loan applications. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word required; knowledge of other multimedia systems and tools a plus. Demonstrated ability to supervise training, motivate, coach and mentor staff. Ability to work independently; be able to organize and prioritize work. Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills. Must have good public speaking skills and be at ease when speaking to staff, management or groups in person, by phone or through correspondence. Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve training problems or issues, by using judgment that is fair and consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or government law. Must be able and willing to travel, computer literate and knowledgeable of the Microsoft Office environment. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time and can lift at least 50 lbs.
