Job Description

Wavestar Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Business Development Professional to help drive our next phase of growth. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in contract acquisition, construction bidding, and local, state, federal, and government bid opportunities. The ideal candidate knows how to identify opportunities, build relationships, navigate the bid process, and help turn contacts into contracts. Our primary areas of focus include DAS/in-building wireless systems, microwave work, telecommunications infrastructure, fiber, and security camera installations. Wavestar is also focused on expanding its presence in the government sector and developing business opportunities with organizations such as Spectrum, Optimum, Verizon Wireless, solar and similar partners. The ideal candidate will be proactive, strategic, well-connected, and able to demonstrate construction bidding knowledge, government contracting experience, and a proven track record of business growth.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in business development, procurement, contract acquisition, construction bidding, or bid management is required Demonstrated track record of driving business growth, securing opportunities, and converting contacts into contracts Experience procuring, pursuing, and bidding government contracts, including local, state, and federal opportunities, is strongly preferred Knowledge of construction bidding processes, proposal requirements, and bid documentation is required Knowledge of telecommunications, fiber, security camera systems, DAS/in-building, microwave, servers, or data center-related work is preferred Strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently, take initiative, and produce results Detail-oriented, resourceful, and focused on growth
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and pursue new business leads and contract opportunities Research and track local, state, federal, and government bid opportunities Assist in preparing, coordinating, and submitting construction bids, proposals, and supporting documentation Support procurement efforts and bidding opportunities for government contracts, including local, state, and federal projects Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, agencies, contractors, and strategic partners Help expand Wavestar's footprint in fiber, security camera installation, telecommunications infrastructure, and government contracting Support targeted outreach efforts to organizations such as Cablevision, Optimum, and other relevant industry partners Manage opportunity pipelines, bid deadlines, and follow-up activities Contribute to strategic growth initiatives and revenue generation efforts
Compensation:
$70k - $90k base salary, depending on experience, plus generous commission package Why Join Wavestar Solutions, LLC?
