Overview School Based Youth Services Program at Passaic Preparatory Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Development Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing guidance, support, and educational assistance to students. As a Youth Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Job Highlights:

The YDS is responsible for facilitating two curriculum-based groups for middle school students at Passaic Preparatory Academy.

Additional responsibilities include:

meeting with students for academic/behavioral support, conflict resolution meetings, and running a recreational based group for one hour after school biweekly.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in psychology or a BSW required Some experience working with middle school population Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. Join us for a fulfilling position supporting middle school youth!
