Our NEW Hagerman location is hiring a Youth Development Professional. Our YDP's are on the front lines with the kids. They will be working with the kids in areas of STEM, Art, Literacy, Physical Activity, E-Sports, homework and many others. If you are looking to be a hero in a kid's life, this is an amazing opportunity to do just that. $15.75 an hour 30 Hours a week Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in various activities to promote their physical, emotional, and social development. Implement educational and recreational programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children. Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children under care, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere. Provide support and guidance to children in areas such as behavior management, tutoring, and special education needs. Collaborate with management to address individual child needs and progress effectively. Cleaning of program areas Qualifications Experience working with children in childcare, camps, and educational settings is a plus but not required Classroom management skills and experience in teaching or tutoring is a plus but not required Familiarity with early childhood education and childhood development principles is a plus but no required Must be 18 or older. Valid driver's license for transportation is required Background check is required for position
