Summary of Position:
The Training Coordinator is responsible for developing and delivering unique internal training courses and programs for business units within tk Materials as well as coordinates employee participation in outside training programs. Duties include interaction with Subject Matter Experts, management, and HR to determine training needs, implementing training programs and reviewing feedback from previous training programs to determine success and improvement opportunities.
Key Accountabilities:
Conduct organization-wide training needs assessments to identify skill and or knowledge gaps that need training as well as aid in prioritizing the list.
Work with SMEs to design and develop training programs and content
Where applicable, manage outside resources training content creation
Learn training methods and techniques, use learning to prepare and coordinate training sessions.
Assist management in developing annual training plans by function and employee, providing scheduling as well as training record recording support as needed.
Work with Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to structure and maintain a training curriculum database and assisting others on the use of the system.
Help determine training methods or activities (e.g., video, classroom, on-the-job training, at vendor, professional development classes, etc.).
Market company training opportunities to employees, encouraging participation by providing information on benefits of training curriculum.
Work with company managers to create training schedules for company departments.
Inform employees on scheduled training events.
Coordinate training activities logistics
Deliver training content as needed
Gather and evaluate feedback from employees and management on training results to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
Help identify and evaluate storage / retrieval / record keeping methods and software for the training program (within tk or with external vendor).
Manage the training budget.
