Job Description
The Training Coordinator is part of a larger Training team supporting and influencing the Tesla culture at the Gigafactory. A successful Training Partner will be approachable, outgoing and exudes the Tesla mission in all facets. - Friday Facilitate training to manage and maintain Production processes with emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity within Gigafactory to include coordination of training, Train the Trainer enrichment courses and specialized skills training relevant to area of coverage Facilitate lineside training coordination, Train the Trainer enrichment courses and specialized skills training relevant to area of coverage Understand and effectively relay knowledge of updated processes and documentation content to multiple cross-functional teams In-depth knowledge of FX (Factory Execution System) transactions in accordance with operation policies to allow for accurate tracking of production processes Train and identify quality or safety issues, open items, QAN's and visual aids with suggestions to influence best practices and prevent negative re-occurrences Monitor and navigate the certification system (Versatility Chart) and certification input for the Production Team to meet KPIs Use the Learning Management System (LMS), to track, assign, coordinate and create training reports and schedules 1+ years of Production experience with 1-2 years of training role (preferred) Understanding of production process and methodology Strong verbal and written communication skills, including solid interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point) Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies Demonstrates personal leadership and accountability Understanding in adult learning principles, instructional design or education Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program
