Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Site Selection & Development Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the planning, analysis, and execution of site selection and development projects that align with strategic growth objectives. Your expertise will support sustainable land use, environmental compliance, and community engagement, ensuring our projects meet regulatory standards and community needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence urban development, leverage cutting-edge design and mapping software, and lead multidisciplinary teams toward successful project completion. Responsibilities 1. Identify and evaluate potential locations for new restaurants based on the company's expansion plans, including market research, trade area analysis, and site sourcing. 2. Conduct on-site evaluations to assess foot traffic, lease terms, site conditions, and basic construction feasibility. 3. Assist with lease negotiations, commercial terms, and lease execution. 4. Support new restaurant development from design and permitting through construction, inspections, and opening. 5. Coordinate with landlords, brokers, architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors; track project progress and help resolve issues throughout the development process. 6. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure new restaurant projects stay on schedule and open successfully. Qualifications 1. 3+ years of experience in restaurant development, retail development, commercial real estate, site selection, or a related field. 2. Strong knowledge of trade area analysis, site evaluation, and basic construction/site conditions. 3. Familiarity with commercial construction, permitting, inspections, and new restaurant opening processes. 4. Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, and project management skills. 5. Highly responsible and execution-oriented, with the ability to travel and conduct regular site visits as needed. 6. Familiarity with the New York City or Los Angeles commercial real estate and restaurant markets; relevant local development experience is preferred. 7. Strong English and Chinese communication skills. Existing relationships with commercial real estate professionals, landlords, brokers, contractors, or vendors are a plus. $68,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
