Location:
Getzville, NY Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:00 AM•3:30 PM, 37.5 hrs./week. Some evening and weekend training delivery are required. Up to 32 days of paid time off 14-16 paid holidays annually Potential for annual raises and profit sharing Health, dental, and vision insurance/Medical opt-out payment (up to $1,000/year) 401K with up to 4% employer match Life and long-term disability insurance Your Impact as a Training Support Specialist The Training and Program Development Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality onboarding and ongoing training in compliance with OPWDD and NY State Education requirements, including mandated programs such as SCIP-R, Ukeru, and agency-specific content. Ensures timely updates to training materials, maintains accurate training records, and supports regulatory compliance. Some evening and weekend training delivery are required.
Training Development and Evaluation:
Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, observation, and outcome data. Update materials based on best practices, policy changes, and audit results. Develop training calendars and schedule staff to maintain certifications. Manage training records and Learning Management System (LMS) entries.
New Hire Orientation:
Assist in presenting and supporting New Hire Orientation sessions. Introduce new staff to agency values, policies, and procedures. Serve as a training resource during onboarding.
Regulatory and Compliance Training:
Deliver required trainings (e.g., SCIP-R, Ukeru, OPWDD curriculum). Track completions and provide timely refreshers to meet compliance standards. Maintain Bus Driver records and ensure staff are in compliance with all NYS regulations. Manage intern and volunteer onboarding to ensure appropriate forms are completed and there is compliance with all regulations prior to the start of volunteer or intern assignments. Collaborate with clinical and leadership teams to align training with best practices.

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in education, Human Services, Psychology, or related field preferred Minimum 2 years of training experience Experience with OPWDD-regulated programs and training delivery required
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
SCIP-R Instructor certification preferred; required within 6 months of hire. Ukeru Instructor certification preferred; required within 12 months of hire. ARC First Aid/CPR Instructor certification preferred; required within 6 months of hire.
