Job Description
North Edge Technology is looking for a Science and Technology (S&T) Junior Acquisition Analyst to perform programmatic and outreach duties associated with S&T requirements for defense agencies. Qualified candidates must fully understand Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) and Information Analysis Center (IAC) mission needs and maintain awareness of the priorities of
DTIC/IAC
users. The applicant will have the opportunity to work directly with priorities and projects conducted in collaboration with the Federal government, the private sector, and industry partners within the intelligence, defense, and homeland security communities. He/she will support the conduct of research, requirements development, contract data analysis, and operational support to address current IAC's operational needs and DoW-wide, identified capability gaps. The ideal candidate possesses acquisition, science & technology, engineering, data analysis, and project management experience in DoW R D and S&T environment and strong interest in accelerating technical and information sharing capabilities. Responsibilities Support the acquisition planning and strategy development as a part of the DoW IAC's R D requirements development team Develop / write R D requirements in collaboration with requirement owners while assisting with the requirements package development and review process Support functional development and implementation of quality control and assurance process. Provide coordination with the appropriate Information Analysis Centers (IACs) and maintain the currency and accuracy of collected data Support continuous process improvement activities Support the review of independent studies, policy, and programmatic documents that relate to the operation of each IAC Assist in identifying program risks and controls Support continuous process improvement activities Provide fiscal requirements analysis and funding strategy support Research and provide definitive raw analysis of client's multiple programs portfolio of current capabilities, requirements, and technical initiatives to enable and propose strategic enhancements by recommending solutions to enable rapid capability development Support any high-level strategic direction data-call requests for performance measures, trending analysis, metrics, feasibility studies, and change requests Qualifications Bachelor's-degree and preferred five (5) years' professional and relevant experience. Military service may be used to substitute degree requirement Eligible to Obtain Active Secret Clearance Experience supporting the S&T and R D requirements/programs. Training and education equivalent to a bachelor's and required years of experience may be acceptable Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior executives Have demonstrated a superior ability in developing effective professional and interpersonal relationships with peers and colleagues across multiple functional groups and external partners Have demonstrated an ability to balance responsibilities among assigned activities; including the ability to manage transitions effectively from task to task, and proven adaptability to varying customer needs Excellent data analysis skills Excellent command of English (written and spoken) and presentation skills Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including a superior ability to work effectively at the highest levels within an interagency environment on complex issues requiring consensus-building JobID 2026-25589
