Maintenance Technical Instructor
LOCATION
Mount Vernon, OH, USA Qualifications:
Requires high school diploma or GED Associate or bachelor's degree in education, industrial maintenance or related field preferred 2 - 5 years of experience facilitating technical instructor-led maintenance training 5+ years of experience in maintenance required. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred Demonstrated ability to engage audiences and lead effective group discussions Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Ability to create a positive and interactive learning environment Experience in facilitating hands-on maintenance lab activities is preferred Ready to Shape the Next Generation of Maintenance Technicians? As a Maintenance Technical Instructor, you'll play a critical role in developing the skills of our maintenance organization. Whether delivering advanced technical training to experienced technicians or helping develop the next generation of technicians from the ground up through our Registered Industrial Maintenance Apprenticeship Program, you will have a direct impact on the growth and success of our workforce. You'll also have the resources you need to do it right. Our world-class training center and maintenance lab are equipped with an unmatched collection of hands-on training equipment spanning the full spectrum of industrial maintenance. You'll have the opportunity to teach, demonstrate, troubleshoot, and develop technicians in an environment built specifically for technical learning. This is an opportunity to take the knowledge you've gained in the field and multiply its impact by helping to hone the technicians of today and build the technicians of tomorrow.
What You'll Do:
Deliver advanced technical training to maintenance technicians in areas such as electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and more. Develop and improve hands-on training programs using our extensive training equipment. Support the development and progression of our maintenance technicians through our Registered Industrial Maintenance Apprenticeship program. Evaluate trainee knowledge and hands-on competency. Continuously improve training content, methods, and learning experiences.
