Onsite Position ## Your Responsibilities As a Instructor for JD Olate located in Plain City, OH you will:- Take the lead role in the delivery of training
- Take the lead role to develop / adapts content and training materials and activities for classes
- marketing, management, sales, etc)
- Research training topics to increase subject matter expertise specific to product, machine systems, professional skills, and product applications
- Distribute/share training information with appropriate channel partners, Company personnel, and customers
- Assist/support channel partners, Company personnel, and customers regarding content and delivery
- Construct and maintain equipment for all classes
- Document training curriculum for Instructor Guide, maintains and updates Instructor Guide
- Ensure the integrity of documentation as well as the validity to current product, training delivery processes, and organizational needs
- Continually evaluate the effectiveness of the course meeting its objectives during delivery and from evaluations
- Make appropriate changes to course materials and delivery
- Utilize knowledge of training to promote training products, training systems, and training materials
- Be responsible for classroom/training event administration (acquiring roster, taking enrollment, completing exit evaluations) and communicating results to appropriate personnel or system VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position ## What Skills You Need
- Knowledge of Learning and Development process including areas such as instructional skills, presentation skills, needs assessments, adult learning theory, curriculum development and other such related knowledge and skills
- An ability to use various department specific computer programs
- Familiarity with one or more of the following systems: mechanical, hydraulic, electrical
- Knowledge of dealers and other channels
- Knowledge of products, customers, markets and competitors
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs ## What Makes You Stand Out
- 2 or more years experience in training and development area involved in activities such as instruction, needs assessments, curriculum development, and other such related training and development work
- 2 or more years of product support experience
- Technical training experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic ## Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- A bachelor's degree in Agricultural Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
