What You'll Do As the Service Technician Trainer, you will serve as a coach, mentor, technical resource, and operational partner to our service teams. Your work will ensure that our technicians are technically strong, productive, and safety-focused. You will travel regularly to dealership locations to conduct ride-alongs, observe shop operations, and coach technicians on best practices.
Your daily work may include:
Developing and managing structured 30/60/90-day onboarding plans for new technicians, training them on shop workflow, safety procedures, diagnostics fundamentals, and Kubota systems. Building and maintaining structured technician development paths by skill level, delivering hands-on and classroom technical training programs. Serving as an advanced troubleshooting and escalation resource, supporting technicians with difficult diagnostics and repair challenges. Assisting in developing and maintaining dealership service standards, SOPs, diagnostic flowcharts, and warranty documentation standards. Coordinating OEM technical training and certification programs, tracking technician progress to ensure they remain current on evolving technologies. Identifying and mentoring future shop foremen, field leaders, and service managers to foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous learning.
Required Experience:
5+ years of service technician experience in agricultural, construction, or equipment dealership environments. Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting experience, with strong proficiency in equipment systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach, simplify complex technical concepts, and comfortably speak to groups. Strong organizational and planning abilities with a leadership and coaching mindset. Ability to travel frequently between dealership locations and maintain a flexible schedule based on operational needs. Prior experience mentoring, coaching, or training technicians is highly preferred. Experience with Kubota equipment and systems is strongly preferred
Compensation:
$50,000.00 -$60,000.00 Salary + Eligibile to participate in
Bonus Program Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
