We're seeking a Bilingual (Spanish-English) Skills Trainer to provide behavioral health, special education and social-emotional support for children ages 3 to 5 in our Therapeutic Early Childhood Program (TECP). In this role, you'll support young children experiencing behavioral, emotional, developmental, and family-related challenges both in and outside the classroom, helping them develop the skills needed to succeed at home, in school, and in their relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with backgrounds in behavioral health, social work, psychology, family services, or early childhood education who are passionate about making a meaningful impact during a child's most important developmental years. Minimum Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a qualifying field, eligibility for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) certification in Oregon, and experience working with young children or transferrable experience. Support children in therapeutic classrooms using Positive Behavior Support strategies and attachment-based interventions. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, Child Development Specialists, and family members to implement individualized behavioral health and special education goals. Participate in family support activities, evening parent education programs, team meetings, trainings, and other services that strengthen children and families. Complete required documentation, data collection, progress notes, and billing records in compliance with program and state requirements. Approximately half of billable services are expected to be delivered in Spanish. You'll Be a Great Fit If You Are passionate about supporting young children and families. Communicate fluently in both Spanish and English. Qualifications Required Fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to pass a Spanish Language Proficiency assessment. Qualified candidates typically have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Family Services, Community Behavioral Health, Child Development, Counseling, or a related field. Experience working with children, families, or individuals experiencing trauma, poverty, behavioral health challenges, substance use disorders, or other significant stressors.
