Job Description

Recording Specialist provides public service in the Clerk's Office in person and via telephone. Records property documents (deeds, mortgages, etc.) as well as other documents in the Clerk's Office, in person and electronically. Processes marriage and dog licenses. High School diploma or equivalent of GED and strong communication and customer service skills are required. Knowledge of property documents welcomed, but not required. Lake County will provide training to the chosen applicant. Part-time temporary position through 6/30/2027. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Salary range $15.00 - $20.00 per hour.
