Chiropractic Team Trainer Columbia Family Chiropractic | Columbia, SC Full-Time | Multi-Location Position About Columbia Family Chiropractic At Columbia Family Chiropractic, our mission is simple: We exist to give families hope, healing, and lasting health. We are a growing, family-focused chiropractic organization committed to providing exceptional patient care while developing an exceptional team. We operate three offices and are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and people-focused Chiropractic Team Trainer to help us develop our team, maintain operational excellence, and create consistency across all locations. The Role The Chiropractic Team Trainer is responsible for mastering, teaching, and maintaining the standards for all Chiropractic Assistant positions within our offices while also supporting the initial administrative onboarding of new doctors . This person will become an expert in our three primary CA roles: Check-In CA Check-Out CA Technician CA The Trainer will ensure that team members are properly trained, confident in their roles, and consistently following Columbia Family Chiropractic's systems, procedures, and standards. This is a multi-location position . The Trainer must be comfortable working at all three offices and adapting to the needs of each location. There may also be some remote work. When staffing shortages arise, the Trainer may also step into a CA role to provide coverage and maintain smooth clinic operations. The Trainer will also serve as an important resource during the onboarding of new doctors, helping them understand the administrative systems, workflows, expectations, and culture of Columbia Family Chiropractic. Key Responsibilities1. Chiropractic Assistant Training & Development Master all responsibilities, systems, procedures, and expectations for the Check-In, Check-Out, and Technician CA positions. Train new and existing team members on CA responsibilities, systems, procedures, and office workflows. Provide hands-on training, coaching, and ongoing development. Observe team members performing their roles and provide constructive feedback. Identify training gaps and work with leadership to address them. Help team members become confident, competent, and consistent in their roles. Reinforce company standards and expectations across all three locations. Help maintain and improve training materials, checklists, and standard operating procedures. Assist leadership with implementing new systems, processes, and expectations. 2. Doctor Administrative Onboarding The Trainer will play a key role in the initial administrative onboarding of new doctors joining Columbia Family Chiropractic.
Responsibilities include:
Facilitate the administrative portion of new-doctor onboarding. Introduce new doctors to Columbia Family Chiropractic's administrative systems, workflows, and expectations. Train new doctors on relevant office procedures, communication systems, patient flow, documentation processes, and administrative responsibilities. Help new doctors understand how the doctors, CAs, leadership, and other team members work together within the clinic. Ensure required administrative onboarding checklists and training are completed. Serve as an initial resource for new doctors as they learn the operational side of the practice. Help new doctors understand and successfully implement the systems and standards expected within the organization. Coordinate with doctors and leadership to ensure a smooth transition from onboarding into regular clinic operations. Identify questions, training gaps, or operational concerns and communicate them to the appropriate leader. Help ensure consistency in administrative processes and expectations across all three locations. 3. Quality, Systems & Accountability Ensure CAs are consistently following established systems, procedures, and checklists. Help maintain consistency in patient experience and office operations across all locations. Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate them to leadership. Lead by example and model the attitude, professionalism, and patient-care standards expected of the team. Provide positive, constructive feedback when expectations are not being met. Help team members understand not only what to do, but why the process matters. Support leadership in maintaining accountability to established standards. Help identify recurring issues and assist in developing solutions. 4. Multi-Location Support & Coverage Work across all three Columbia Family Chiropractic locations as needed. Be available to provide CA coverage during staffing shortages, vacations, call-outs, or other operational needs. Flex between Check-In, Check-Out, and Technician responsibilities based on the needs of the office. Support offices during periods of growth, staffing transitions, new-hire training, and increased patient volume. Travel between locations as needed to provide training, support, or coverage. Help maintain consistent systems and standards regardless of which office is being supported. 5. Patient Experience Provide an exceptional experience for every patient. Demonstrate excellent communication, professionalism, warmth, and confidence. Ensure patients feel welcomed, cared for, and confident in their care. Model the patient experience we expect from every member of the team. Help train CAs to create a consistent patient experience across all three offices. Step into frontline responsibilities when needed to ensure patients continue to receive excellent service. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is highly competent, coachable, organized, energetic, dependable, and passionate about developing people.The ideal candidate:
Has strong experience working in a chiropractic, healthcare, or fast-paced patient-care environment. Has experience as a Chiropractic Assistant or in a similar healthcare role. Can confidently perform all three CA roles or is capable of quickly mastering them. Is highly organized and detail-oriented. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Enjoys teaching, coaching, and helping others succeed. Can give feedback in a positive, constructive, and professional manner. Is comfortable holding others accountable to established standards. Can adapt quickly to different offices, teams, doctors, and situations. Is dependable and flexible with scheduling. Has a positive, team-oriented attitude. Is comfortable working with both clinical and administrative team members. Is willing and able to work the full range of clinic hours. Is comfortable traveling between three locations. Is comfortable stepping out of a training role and directly performing CA responsibilities when coverage is needed. Takes ownership and looks for solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do. Is a strong role model who naturally earns the trust and respect of others. Schedule & Availability This is a full-time, multi-location position . The Trainer must be available to work within the full range of Columbia Family Chiropractic's operating hours and must be willing to work at any of our three locations based on training, staffing, and operational needs. Flexibility is essential. This position may occasionally be asked to: Change locations based on staffing needs. Provide short-term CA coverage. Adjust responsibilities based on operational demands. Assist with new-hire training. Assist with new-doctor onboarding. Support an office experiencing a staffing or operational challenge. The Trainer should view flexibility as a core part of the role. What Success Looks Like A successful Chiropractic Assistant Trainer will: Become an expert in all three CA positions. Consistently demonstrate Columbia Family Chiropractic's systems and standards. Successfully train new CAs to competency. Help existing team members improve their performance. Create consistency between all three offices. Successfully onboard new doctors to the administrative side of the practice. Become a trusted resource for both CAs and new doctors. Step into coverage situations confidently and effectively. Identify problems before they become larger operational issues. Help create a culture where team members are confident, capable, accountable, and excited to grow.
