Job Description

Client HR Trainer ProService Hawaii - 3.0 Honolulu, HI Job Details Full-time $71,000 - $98,000 a year 20 hours ago Benefits Paid parental leave Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Employee assistance program 401(k) matching Loan assistance Qualifications Curriculum development Mid-level Full Job Description ProService Hawaii is looking for a Client HR Trainer to serve as a trusted partner to our clients—designing and delivering expert HR training that helps business owners and their teams understand employment law, build stronger workplace cultures, and grow as leaders. This role is genuinely unique. It blends instructional design, deep HR knowledge, client relationship management, and live facilitation—across formats ranging from intimate classroom sessions to large-scale events and virtual webinars.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
Deliver expert HR training across a variety of formats—classroom, ballroom, webinar, podcast, on-demand, and social media Tailor training content to each client's culture, industry, and goals in collaboration with the Instructional Designer and L&D Specialist Manage all training logistics including scheduling, venues, materials, and client communications to ensure a seamless participant experience Travel inter-island to facilitate onsite sessions (up to 50% inter-island travel required) and deliver virtual sessions as needed Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively address training needs, and track engagement in Salesforce Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and adapting to shifting client priorities with professionalism
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM
We don't measure candidates by résumé alone. We're looking for people who hold themselves to a standard most don't, take feedback as fuel, and are wired to own their results. We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for HR topics, a natural presence in front of a room, and the organizational discipline to manage a high-volume training calendar. Prior facilitation experience is required; formal HR credentials are a plus but not required if your experience demonstrates strong content knowledge. You're a confident, engaging facilitator who can hold a room Whether it's 8 people or 80, you bring energy and clarity—and you adjust your delivery based on who's in front of you. You have strong working knowledge of HR and employment law topics. You can speak to compliance topics, leadership development, and workplace culture with credibility and confidence. You build rapport quickly and maintain it over time. Clients remember you—not just the training. You follow up, stay accessible, and treat every interaction as part of a longer relationship. You're highly organized and manage your own schedule well. You juggle multiple client engagements, travel logistics, and project deadlines without things slipping. You welcome feedback and use it to get better. You actively seek input after sessions, reflect honestly on what landed and what didn't, and bring that learning back into your next delivery.
IS THIS ROLE RIGHT FOR YOU?
We want you to walk in with clear eyes, so here's an honest look at what this role is — and what it isn't. This role moves fast and covers a lot of ground. In a given week, you might be facilitating a compliance workshop on Oahu, customizing a leadership development session for a Maui based client, and following up on training feedback—all while managing your schedule across islands. The variety is part of what makes it energizing, but it does require strong organization and genuine comfort with frequent travel. The facilitation bar here is high. Clients notice the difference between a trainer who simply delivers content and one who reads the room, adjusts on the fly, and makes the material stick. If you're someone who gets energy from a live audience and takes pride in making complex HR topics accessible and engaging, this role is a strong fit. We encourage candidates to consider in-person facilitation or the travel demands of the role before applying.
WORK LOCATION
Honolulu, HI (Hawaii Kai) — Hybrid + Inter-Island Travel This role is based out of our Hawaii Kai office with a hybrid schedule (in office Tuesday-Thursday, option for remote Monday & Friday). Inter-island travel is a regular part of the role—up to 50% of working time—to facilitate onsite client sessions across the islands.
COMPENSATION
The base compensation for this position is $71,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
