Nurse / Qualified-Supervising Professional

We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse, Licensed Social Worker, Mental Health Professional or Qualified Designated Coordiator as defined by the DHS to act in the capacity of a Qualified Professional (QP) / Supervising Professional (CFSS).

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Completing detailed and accurate documentation as needed.
• Training and orientation of PCAs on the individual needs of the recipient
• Training PCAs for a recipient who is ventilator dependent
• Training new procedures or equipment
• Training based on changes to the care plan
• Training based on the needs of the recipient and the PCA's ability to meet those needs
• Ensure competency of PCA staff to provide required PCA services.
• Ensure PCA staff are knowledgeable about care plan before services are performed
• Ensure PCA staff can identify conditions when they should notify the QP, MD and responsible party (RP), including conditions when immediate notification is required.
• The satisfaction level of the recipient/responsible party
• The month-to-month plan for use of PCA services
• Developing the care plan
• The documentation of PCA services provided May be pets in the home.

Requirements:

• Clear a criminal background study before providing services
• Work for a PCA provider agency
• Complete required training within six months of hire
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and auto insurance.
• The ability to effectively communicate verbally and written in English.

Job Type:

Part-time Pay:

$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
