Senior Training and Development Specialist Location:
Remote Mano Lani LLC is seeking a Senior Training and Development Specialist to develop and deliver technical training for GIS, data management, real property, and related business applications. This position will work with subject matter experts and client teams to turn technical processes into clear, practical training materials for end users. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent presentation skills, and experience creating training that makes complex systems easier to understand and use.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on technical training.
- Create lesson plans, presentations, user guides, exercises, job aids, and reference materials.
- Evaluate training needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions
- Provide training on GIS applications, workflows, data management, and related business processes.
- Update training materials as systems, processes, and requirements change.
- Develop user manuals, quick-reference guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate user feedback.
- Provide technical assistance to users following training. Requirements Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Information Technology, Education, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience developing and delivering technical training.
- Experience creating training materials, presentations, and user documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical information to users with different experience levels.
- Ability to meet applicable client access requirements. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing GIS or software application training.
- Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS applications.
- Experience developing training for enterprise or government systems.
- Knowledge of adult learning and instructional design practices.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
