Technical Field Representative ---- Technical documents Contractor training Support customers with technical questions Inquiries and Claims Field Technical support Job Summary At Kingspan Roofing and Waterproofing, the Technical Support Engineer is responsible for supporting our customers through their roofing projects implementing and applying the best practices and knowledge in class. She/He participates actively in developing all technical literature related to Kingspan Roofing Systems, Technical support processes and warranty processes. She/He will also provide technical expertise and architectural support as needed to our sales force, traveling when necessary to provide in-field consultation and assistance to salespeople, roofing contractors, general contractors, project managers and other design professionals regarding product application and other technical training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to internal and external customers both in-house and in the field Do the estimation for all quantities of the materials for the roof system in the requested projects. Do the technical calculations and support requested for the roof system: Thermal conductivity, wind load for fastening patterns, Reflectivity, etc Support our Brand and roofing systems through technical assistance. Develop, Structure and maintain Technical Documents Be involved in developing and maintaining all necessary codes, testing and regulations as proper support to develop our roofing business. Support and participate in our warranty systems supporting the customers and optimize customers satisfaction Execute the training program for contractors and customers. Train the new and seasoned members of the sales force as needed, as well as train contractors on application techniques Support Sales and Marketing with technical information Closely work with the Sales and Specifications team to win projects through excellence and expertise in technical support.

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

Strong experience and proven success in technical roles in

TPO/PVC/EPDM

membranes Customer centric attitude Safety first mentality Excellent interpersonal and customer-oriented skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data driven decision making

Travel Requirement:

Travel will be required for this position, including job site visits.

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
