Position Summary The Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering training programs that strengthen our workforce across production, maintenance, quality, and safety. This person also supports daily People Experience (HR) operations by partnering closely with production leadership to maintain a stable, engaged, and compliant workforce. Key Responsibilities Develops & maintains the Digital Skills Matrix for all hourly employees Maps the competencies of all employees for SPS & identifies gaps Develops training material, checklists, & tracks the completion of these for each trainee Partners with PX Manager to develop Leadership Development for salaried employees Maintains documentation for training department Partners with SPS coordinator to support Kaizen events Serves as training liaison for all customer and DOL audits Schedules & facilitates all new hire orientations Responsible for onboarding all new employees Support hourly hiring & coordinate interviews Processes weekly & semi-monthly payroll Assists employees with benefit questions, policy questions, and general PX questions Responsible for tracking all employees on paid & unpaid leave Supports SPS managers and PX manager as needed Leadership & Team Development Must be able to work independently to lead Training department Cross-Functional Must be able to collaborate with all levels of employees Qualifications Education +
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Leadership Development, or related field + 2 year's experience in HR or Training/Development. OR Associate's Degree in related field + 3 - 5 years' experience in HR or Training/Development. OR High School Diploma + 5 - 7 years' experience in HR or Training/Development.
Technical Skills:
Strong presentation, public speaking and communication skills Ability to understand production processes, lean manufacturing, and safety protocols Must be proficient in entire Microsoft suite Ability to maintain multiple training schedules and priorities in a fast-paced environment Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality Travel Requirements 0% - 5% of travel What You'll
