Job Description
About the Position We are seeking a dependable, organized, and patient-focused Referral Specialist to join our rheumatology practice. This position will be responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing referrals, scheduling patients, handling phone calls, and providing excellent patient service. The selected candidate will also be cross trained for the check-out receptionist to provide coverage and support as needed. We are looking for someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a busy medical office environment. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing a positive patient experience and enjoys being part of a team. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, friendly, and able to transition between referral coordination, scheduling, phone responsibilities, and check-out duties when needed. Previous experience in a medical office, referral coordination, scheduling, or patient-facing healthcare role preferred
