POSITION PURPOSE

This position cultivates strong relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, labor organizations, and local businesses to develop programs that create clear pathways into energy careers and remove barriers to employment. The role supports the expansion of a diverse and sustainable talent pipeline by aligning community‑based initiatives with TVA's workforce needs, strengthening regional partnerships, and enhancing awareness of opportunities across the Tennessee Valley. In addition, the position promotes TVA as an employer of choice by advancing community engagement, elevating brand presence, and connecting prospective talent to meaningful career pathways within the organization.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Leads the cultivation and strategic management of relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, unions, workforce agencies, nonprofit partners, and local businesses to advance regional workforce‑development priorities and strengthen TVA's long‑term talent pipeline. Serves as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, including HR, Workforce Strategy & Enablement, Government & Community Relations, Economic Development, and business units, ensuring that all external workforce initiatives directly support TVA's capability needs and strategic workforce priorities. Provides expert consultation on external workforce trends, community needs, labor‑market dynamics, and education‑to‑employment pathways; translates insights into program strategies, partnership opportunities, and enterprise recommendations. Represents TVA as a senior ambassador in the community, enhancing TVA's employer brand, elevating visibility of career pathways, and positioning the organization as an employer of choice across the Tennessee Valley. Leads cross‑functional collaboration efforts to align community partnerships, education initiatives, and workforce‑development investments with TVA's talent‑pipeline needs, ensuring consistency, scalability, and measurable impact. Develops and oversees evaluation frameworks to measure program effectiveness, track outcomes, assess return on workforce‑development investments, and provide leaders with actionable insights that inform workforce strategies. Identifies strategic partnership opportunities with schools, workforce boards, nonprofits, industry groups, and technical‑training organizations to expand regional talent capacity and support TVA's future workforce requirements. Guides TVA personnel participation in community engagement efforts, preparing leaders and employees to effectively engage in outreach events, career forums, partnership councils, and education‑industry collaborations. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education

•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field or equivalent education and work experience. Experience

•5+ years of related experience. Certification/License, etc. — None Knowledge/Skills/Abilities — Proven experience in workforce development, community engagement, talent acquisition, or recruitment preferred. Strong networking and relationship-building skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are desired. Data analysis and reporting capabilities are also preferred. Knowledge of workforce development and community engagement best practices are desired.
