HVAC courses will be offered in the evening in an industry setting.Position Summary:
Pellissippi State Community College is seeking qualified contract instructors (s) to teach HVAC training classes for its Workforce and Community Development Department. We are specifically seeking an instructor for evening classes to be taught on an ongoing basis. Instructors work on a part-time, temporary contract to provide educational instruction for a specific class or workforce training. Instructors are expected to be subject matter experts on their topic, will be responsible for delivery of instruction, and may be responsible for developing instructional materials. Current and retired industry leaders and past military personnel with technical training and the ability to teach are strongly encouraged to apply. Special Instructions toApplicants:

Technical certificate or degree in HVAC or Industrial Electricity with a high degree of knowledge and work experience in safety, tools and materials, installation, troubleshooting, and repairing various commercial and HVAC systems. EPA Universal Certification.Years of Experience:
3 yearsSkills/Abilities:
Minimum three years of experience as an HVAC technician in a commercial or industrial setting is required Special Instructions toApplicants:
