Job Summary:
Primary function is to act as liaison between Little Haven PPECC and the health care entities and community. Responsibilities include development and promotion of Little Haven Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center services while increasing patient census and revenue growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
Little Haven Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center is a pediatric nursing facility for children that require nursing care. The Business Development Professional must speak both English and Spanish fluently, demonstrate the ability to drive census and revenue growth through developing and establishing business relationships throughout the health care community. Should have strong communication, team-building and interpersonal skills and should be compassionate, passionate, self-confident, energetic and be able to adapt to changes in a fast pace environment. Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all sales and marketing activities for the Rio Grande Valley region.
  • Increase patient census through patient admissions and new business relationships.
  • Implement strategic initiatives to retain and build business health care relationships.
  • Collaborate with CEO and Director of Nursing to analyze and implement new business strategies to ensure profitability and meet company goals.
  • Build and develop sound working relationships with hospital staff, physician offices, managed care organizations and other health care agencies to establish referrals and facilitate the admission process.
  • Provide initial and ongoing education to patients, hospital staff, physicians, managed care organizations and community members regarding Little Haven PPECC services and updates.
  • Present in-services to hospital staff, physician's offices, managed care organizations and other healthcare and community entities.
  • Represent Little Haven PPECC at health care, community and managed care organization meetings and events.
  • Participate in local community charities, foundations and events.
  • Manage Little Haven PPECC's social media sources, Facebook, Instagram and public website.
  • Participate in Little Haven PPECC's facility events.
