Position Description We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Technical Trainer to join our team. This crucial role is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to new hires, focusing on foundational electrical safety, established panel and line wiring standards, and providing essential support for end-of-line product testing and troubleshooting. While also actively supporting the wider Health and Safety culture across the organization. Key Responsibilities Training Development and Delivery Design, develop, and update training curriculum, materials, and assessments related to electrical safety protocols (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, arc flash), wiring standards, and quality control. Conduct engaging, hands-on, and theoretical training sessions for new starters and existing employees on panel wiring, machine wiring (line wiring), and electrical blueprint reading. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques, including classroom lecture, practical demonstrations , and on-the-job coaching, to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development. Standardization and Compliance Ensure all training content aligns with internal standards, industry best practices, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., NEC, IEC). Train employees to adhere strictly to the company's internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for electrical assembly and wiring, ensuring consistency and quality across all production lines. End-of-Line Test Support Provide technical support and expertise to the end-of-line (EOL) testing teams to quickly identify and resolve electrical faults, wiring errors, or functional issues in finished products. Coach EOL test technicians and assembly personnel on efficient troubleshooting methodologies and the proper use of testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes ). Collect and analyze EOL test data to identify common failure points and integrate solutions/preventive measures into the training programs. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of all training activities, trainee progress, and certification status. Provide feedback to supervisors and management on the performance and readiness of new starters. Required Education & Qualifications 5+ years of electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification in refrigeration/HVAC preferred. Why Choose Modine?
