Field & Shop Observation:
Shadow Fleet Technicians on-site to document end-to-end hardware upfitting, including sensor mounting, high-voltage wiring harness routing, compute installation, and calibration procedures.SOP & Manual Creation:
Write clear, step-by-step Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), visual field guides, safety checklists, and troubleshooting manuals.Training Program Development:
Build modular training curriculums, onboarding guides, and multimedia instructional materials (photos, diagrams, short video walk-throughs) for new Fleet Technicians.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with hardware engineers, software leads, and fleet managers to ensure documentation stays current as autonomous hardware configurations evolve.Continuous Improvement:
Audit existing documentation based on field technician feedback and upfit error logs to improve clarity and reduce install times. Apply now! Required Qualifications & Skills- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, training documentation, or instructional design for industrial, automotive, hardware, or technical operations environments.

Hardware Aptitude:
Ability to watch a technician perform complex wiring, bracket mounting, or sensor calibration and immediately capture the steps accurately.Visual Documentation Skills:
Skilled in taking clear instructional photographs, annotating diagrams, and formatting guides for rapid reading by field teams.Tool Proficiency:
Experience using tools such as Google Workspace (Docs/Slides/Drive), Adobe Acrobat, or specialized visual documentation/LMS platforms.Communication:
Exceptional written English skills with the ability to turn jargon-heavy engineering terms into straightforward, actionable technician instructions. Preferred Experience- Prior background in heavy machinery, robotics, automotive/EV manufacturing, or agricultural autonomy.
