Weekends and holidays off! Make a difference in a child's life while gaining valuable experience working with youth.
Location:
Rockwall, TX Pay:
$11-$14 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, approximately 2:30-6:30 p.m.

Club Director Make an Impact Every Day Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas is looking for an energetic, dependable, and caring Youth Development Professional and Van Driver to join our Rockwall team. In this role, you'll safely transport members to the Club and help create a positive, engaging environment where young people can learn, build confidence, and have fun. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants a rewarding part-time schedule with weekends and holidays off. What You'll Do Safely transport youth to the Club in an organization vehicle. Build positive, supportive relationships with Club members. Plan and lead fun, outcome-driven activities. Mentor youth and model good character and citizenship. Help members develop new skills and celebrate their progress. Support programming in five core areas: The Arts Sports and Recreation Character and Leadership Education and Career Development Health and Life Skills Maintain a safe, healthy, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Supervise members and respond appropriately to behavioral or safety concerns. Help maintain program supplies, equipment, and Club spaces. Communicate professionally with youth, parents, coworkers, volunteers, and community members. Complete approximately 25 hours of paid online training. Assist with other Club responsibilities as needed. What We're Looking For A positive attitude and genuine interest in helping young people succeed. Dependability, patience, and good judgment. Strong communication and group-leadership skills. Willingness to take initiative, solve problems, and work as part of a team. Ability to follow safety procedures, organizational policies, and directions. Ability to maintain confidentiality and complete required records and forms. Comfort learning Boys & Girls Clubs programs, technology, and procedures. Previous experience working with children or teens is preferred. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Must possess a valid driver's license and meet organizational driving and insurance requirements. Must successfully complete required background checks, including fingerprinting. CPR and First Aid certification may be required. Training is provided at no cost.
