Employee Development Specialist Location:
Auburn, Washington (On-Site)
Job Summary:
Our team is seeking an experienced professional to support workforce learning and foundational skills instruction. We deliver critical training for new hires, helping shape the future workforce and ensuring high-quality performance across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging instructional content using a variety of media to clearly communicate and ensure audience retention. Apply knowledge of instructional skills including preparation, delivery, assessment, and student progress evaluation for effective adult learning. Identify business-specific learning objectives, adapt curriculum content and delivery methods, and recommend improvements for enhanced performance. Assess training requirements, schedule courses and instructors, and coordinate training for new hire, recall, and transfer employees, including off-shift support as needed.
Required:
Strong background in Fabrication, Assembly, Composites, and/or Quality Systems. Demonstrated skills in training and instructional techniques. Education or experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor's degree) and 6 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination such as Master's plus 4 years of related experience, or 10 years of related work experience. Ability to work on-site in Auburn, WA, supporting 2nd shift with some 1st shift support as required, and to provide support for off-shift needs when necessary.
