Multi-Location Salon Coach & Educator Bishops Cuts/Color | Bellevue, WA Are you an experienced stylist or barber who loves developing people as much as working behind the chair? Bishops is looking for a licensed stylist or barber and proven people leader to support our five Seattle-area locations in Bellevue, Bothell, Fremont, Newcastle, and Issaquah . This is an opportunity to expand beyond traditional salon management while staying connected to your craft. You'll coach managers, develop teams, support education and recruiting, and help strengthen the Bishops experience across multiple locations. What You'll Do

• Coach and develop Bishops location managers.
• Help managers understand KPIs, identify opportunities, and create actionable goals.
• Support leadership development, communication, employee engagement, and retention.
• Lead and support technical and professional education.
• Help service providers strengthen their skills, with an emphasis on short cuts and clipper work.
• Support recruiting, candidate evaluation, onboarding, and new-hire development.
• Help develop and support the Bishops Mentor Program.
• Visit all five Bishops locations regularly to identify training and development opportunities.
• Support consistency and collaboration across locations.
• Represent Bishops within the local beauty, barbering, and community space.
• Stay connected to the craft by working behind the chair. Who We're Looking For You might currently be a salon manager, educator, senior stylist, barber, trainer, or industry leader ready for something different. We're looking for someone who:
• Holds an active Washington cosmetology or barber license.
• Has strong professional cutting and styling skills.
• Is highly confident with short cuts and clipper work.
• Has experience coaching, training, educating, mentoring, or leading others.
• Enjoys developing people and helping others succeed.
• Can comfortably discuss performance and business metrics with managers.
• Communicates well and builds relationships with different personalities.
• Values creativity, individuality, and an inclusive environment.
• Can regularly travel between our five Seattle-area locations.

Schedule Approximately 20-25 hours per week will be dedicated to coaching, training, education, recruiting, leadership development, and related responsibilities. There is also the opportunity for approximately 10-15 hours per week behind the chair .

Compensation Coaching, Training & Leadership Hours:

$30-$33/hour, based on experience. This rate applies to hours worked performing the responsibilities of the Multi-Location Salon Coach & Educator position.

Behind-the-Chair Hours:

Service hours are compensated separately under the Bishops stylist compensation model. Typical stylist earnings range from approximately $22-$50/hour , based on production, commission, and applicable compensation. The $30-$33 coaching and leadership rate is not a guaranteed rate for behind-the-chair service hours.

Travel:

Required mileage between Bishops locations is reimbursed at the current IRS standard business mileage rate, currently $0.76/mile . Benefits & Perks
