How You'll Make an Impact As a Training Coordinator , you'll be at the forefront of operational excellence, driving employee readiness, compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. You'll collaborate with supervisors, managers, and cross-functional teams to develop impactful training programs, maintain quality documentation, and ensure employees have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
In This Role, You Will:
Own and maintain training records and files for employees and temporary team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Deliver engaging onboarding, job-specific, and annual compliance training for manufacturing personnel. Track training completion and proactively coordinate activities to meet on-time training requirements. Review, update, and align training plans with employee roles, responsibilities, and business needs. Develop and enhance training materials, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), process guides, and production documentation. Partner with supervisors and area managers to identify training gaps and implement process improvements. Create training content that supports quality standards, business objectives, and operational effectiveness. Coordinate and support biennial SOP reviews and updates within the Quality Management System (QMS). Support a multi-shift manufacturing environment with flexibility in scheduling and training delivery. Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience in training, manufacturing, quality, operations, or a related environment; equivalent education and experience will be considered. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Ability to organize, maintain, and track training documentation with a high level of accuracy. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while supporting organizational goals. Strong attention to detail, integrity, adaptability, and a positive, solution-oriented mindset. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Preferred Qualifications that Drive You Forward Experience in a manufacturing, medical device, clean room, or regulated environment. Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or training management platforms. Experience creating instructional materials, process documentation, or training programs.
