Job Description

This is a first shift opportunity with a large, expanding company!

Hours:

6am-4:00pm Monday through Thursday with opportunity for overtime

Pay:

$20.00 per hour

Position Summary:

The plumbing assembler is responsible for assembling components for industrial structures. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer expectations are met through quality workmanship, on-time completion of orders, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a proactive safety culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assemble, install, repair and maintain and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems

Read blueprints, drawings and work order specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system such as water supply networks and waste and drainage system of the HVAC unit

Ensuring precise measurements, cuttings, bending and threading of copper or PVC pipe using hand and power tools such as reamers, copper pipe cutter and pipe thread machine

Join and secure tubes, pipes, couplings and fittings through the use of cement, soldering and brazing

Test plumbing system for leaks using air and water pressure gauges

Work with the Production Lead to meet the standard operation procedures

Measure and mark guidelines for proper HVAC unit parts installation

Ensure safety and quality measures are followed

Qualifications

Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.

Experience using measuring tools and basic cutting equipment preferred.

Ability to use hand and power tools

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
