This 50% commission paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to combine your love for animals with professional grooming skills in a lively, supportive environment. Duties Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, styling, and pet coat care tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring their comfort and safety during grooming sessions Use animal restraint techniques effectively to manage dogs of all sizes and temperaments during grooming procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to ensure a hygienic environment Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions Assist with pet handling tasks such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance to promote overall pet health Support team members with kennel duties or pet sitting as needed to ensure a seamless customer experience Skills Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming Strong dog handling skills with the ability to work confidently with animals of varying temperaments and sizes Knowledge of animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and groomers alike Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and providing exceptional customer service Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling larger dogs or equipment safely Established clientel is a plus Join us in creating a positive grooming experience that leaves pets happy and owners satisfied!
