This job posting is for the Vestavia Hills location. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing the highest level of service to our furry clients. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of the animals in our care. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and supervising dogs in a group daycare setting. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennel facilities, including cleaning runs and common areas. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to staff promptly. Bathing dogs including nail trims, expressing anal glands, and ear cleansing. Walking dogs Experience Previous experience in dog handling or animal care is preferred but not required, we will train you! Must be able to perform labor duties that may include being on your feet for extended amounts of time, heavy lifting, frequent bending, etc. Must be willing and able to work with animals. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential.
