Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Grooming Salon Manager to lead our pet grooming team and ensure exceptional care and styling for our furry clients. In this role, you will oversee daily salon operations, coordinate grooming appointments, and maintain a welcoming environment for pet owners. Your leadership will inspire a team of skilled groomers while providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the grooming salon, including scheduling appointments and supervising staff Ensure high standards of pet coat styling, grooming, and animal handling are consistently maintained Train and mentor grooming team members on pet grooming techniques, animal restraint, and customer service best practices Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide updates on their pets' care Oversee pet care procedures such as pet nail trimming, bathing, brushing, and breed-specific styling Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon environment adhering to animal safety protocols Handle heavy lifting when necessary for large or heavy animals during grooming or transport Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming Background in veterinary or animal-related fields such as veterinary technician, assistant, or veterinary experience preferred Strong dog handling skills and animal restraint knowledge to ensure safety during grooming sessions Experience with animal handling across different species including dogs, cats, and equines is advantageous Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for large animals or equipment Knowledge of kennel management, pet sitting, and basic veterinary procedures such as animal care and animal restraint techniques Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for animal welfare Join us in creating a positive environment where pets feel loved and cared for!
