Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated reliable Dog Kennel Tech/ Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for our furry guests.- Hiring for Weekends and some week days plus Holiday availability for rotation also required for as needed
- Part Time 20 hours
Duties:
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and dog play areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals
- Assist with bathing as needed
- Administer medications as directed by owners.
- Interact with animals to provide socialization
- monitoring play groups of all sizes to ensure the safety of the dogs
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Basic understanding of pet care and animal health
- Strong communication skills to interact with pet owners and staff
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 6 hours
- Must have reliable transportation
- Comfortable with dogs of all sizes
Skills:
- Kennel experience
- Dog training knowledge
- Pet sitting experience
- Proficient in dog handling
- Skilled in animal handling
- Capable of heavy lifting
- Familiarity with pet care practices
- Understanding of animal care protocols
Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$12.00- $15.
