Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated reliable Dog Kennel Tech/ Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for our furry guests.

• Hiring for Weekends and some week days plus Holiday availability for rotation also required for as needed
• Part Time 20 hours

Duties:

• Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and dog play areas
• Monitor the health and well-being of animals
• Assist with bathing as needed
• Administer medications as directed by owners.
• Interact with animals to provide socialization
• monitoring play groups of all sizes to ensure the safety of the dogs

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
• Basic understanding of pet care and animal health
• Strong communication skills to interact with pet owners and staff
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 6 hours
• Must have reliable transportation
• Comfortable with dogs of all sizes
