Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including some bathing, brushing, hair trimming, pet coat styling, and nail trimming to meet client specifications and breed standards. Handle animals with care and confidence, utilizing animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with pet owners about grooming procedures, pet care tips, and special needs. Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly. Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming. Strong dog handling skills with the ability to manage various temperaments safely. Knowledge of animal handling techniques and working with difficult dogs. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy animals. Customer service orientation with a genuine love for animals and dedication to their well-being. Help with marketing, answering phones, appointment scheduling, cleaning, and fellow staff when they may need it.
