EXPERIENCED PET GROOMER

FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME

The Pampered Pup is seeking an experienced pet groomer to join our open-concept, cage-free salon in Mobile, Alabama. We are looking for someone who produces safe, consistent, quality work and genuinely cares about the comfort of every pet. The right candidate will be dependable, professional, organized and comfortable working in a collaborative salon environment.

Responsibilities:

Complete full grooms, tidy trims and related grooming services Consult with clients and accurately follow grooming instructions Assess coat condition and communicate concerns before beginning services Follow safe handling, sanitation and salon procedures Maintain complete and accurate service records Keep the grooming station and shared work areas clean Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers Prioritize pet safety, comfort and quality over speed Preferred qualifications: Professional dog-grooming experience Portfolio showing completed grooming work Knowledge of breed patterns, coat types and grooming tools Ability to safely handle dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments Dependable transportation and attendance Strong communication and customer-service skills

Compensation:

Commission-based compensation Groomer keeps eligible tips according to salon policy Additional earning opportunities for approved specialty services and add-ons Final compensation terms based on experience, skill level and selected work schedule

Scheduling:

Full-time Tuesday-Saturday, part-time, flexible or weekend availability may be considered for the right candidate.
