Full Job Description Job Overview:

Kennel Technician Sharp Animal Hospital - Phenix City, AL Sharp Animal Hospital is looking for a dependable, hardworking Kennel Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Feed, water, and monitor boarding and hospitalized pets Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and hospital areas Walk and exercise dogs Bathe pets as needed Wash bedding, dishes, and other supplies Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint when needed Monitor pets for changes in appetite, behavior, or health and report concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility Provide compassionate care and attention to every patient

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled Previous animal care experience is a plus but not required—we're happy to train the right person!
