As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that enhance their appearance and comfort. Your expertise will help create a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Provide professional grooming services for various breeds of dogs including bathing, clipping, and styling. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments. Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and address any concerns. Handle animals with care, utilizing proper animal restraint techniques to ensure their safety during grooming. Keep accurate records of services provided, including any special notes about the pet's behavior or health. Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, trends, and products to provide the best service possible. Experience Proven experience in pet grooming is mandatory. Skills in animal handling, restraint, and behavior are essential for ensuring the safety of both pets and groomers. Customer service experience is highly valued as you will be interacting with pet owners regularly. Knowledge of dog training is a plus but not mandatory.
