This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your love for dogs with your grooming skills in a dynamic, pet-centered environment. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences Handle dogs safely and confidently using animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Assess each pet's coat condition and skin health, providing recommendations for ongoing care or veterinary referral if needed Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized regularly Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and provide expert advice on pet care and maintenance Support kennel or animal care duties as needed, including heavy lifting of supplies or animals to ensure safety and efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal restraint methods to ensure safe grooming sessions Familiarity with pet grooming tools, techniques, and breed-specific styling standards Strong animal handling skills with an understanding of animal behavior and body language Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving animals or supplies Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
