Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to a variety of dog breeds, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best. The Dog Groomer will play a key role in maintaining the health and well-being of our clients' pets through expert grooming techniques. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences. Assess each dog's coat, skin condition, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming procedures. Maintain a clean and safe grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized regularly. Provide gentle handling of dogs to ensure a stress-free experience for both pet and owner. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare advice. Keep detailed records of grooming services provided and any specific requirements for each pet. Stay updated on current grooming techniques, breed standards, and safety protocols to deliver high-quality service. Experience Proven experience as a Dog Groomer with a strong understanding of different breeds and grooming styles. Ability to handle dogs of various temperaments with patience and professionalism. Knowledge of grooming tools, safety procedures, and sanitation practices. Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and team members effectively. Prior experience in a professional grooming environment is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn.
