Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling for various breeds of dogs. Assess each pet's grooming needs and provide appropriate care based on their individual requirements. Handle animals with care and compassion to ensure their comfort during grooming sessions. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observations about their health or behavior. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and building lasting relationships with pet owners. Assist in managing appointments and scheduling grooming sessions efficiently. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best service possible. Skills Proficient in animal handling with experience in dog handling and pet grooming techniques. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and their pets. Knowledge of veterinary care principles is a plus, enhancing your ability to recognize health concerns in pets. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or equipment.
