Job Summary Experienced Dog Groomer (Wed-Sat) We're a small, established grooming shop in Mesa seeking an experienced dog groomer to join our team Wednesday through Saturday. This role is for a groomer who can work independently, efficiently, and safely in a fast-paced environment — and understands that reliability matters in a small team. This is not a corporate shop and not a creative free-for-all. It's a calm, professional environment where showing up and pulling your weight matters. Responsibilities Perform start-to-finish grooming on dogs of various breeds and sizes Groom 6-10 dogs per day (grooming only; bathing not included in this count) Handle dogs safely, confidently, and calmly Maintain clean, organized workstations and tools Communicate clearly with teammates and front desk as needed Work efficiently without compromising safety or quality Show up on time to start working, not start breakfast and chatting Requirements Minimum 2 years professional grooming experience or completed grooming school (exceptional newer groomers may be considered in very rare case) Ability to groom independently Strong safety awareness and dog handling skills Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-based environment Reliable and respectful of team workload Schedule & Pay Wednesday-Saturday Start times in the 9:00 hour Typically finished between 2-4 pm , depending on workload W-2 employee, paid every two weeks Hourly pay + pooled tips (tips split evenly among groomers and bathers working that day) Our Shop Small team, long-term staff Drama-free, professional culture No corporate nonsense Supportive owner who understands grooming
