Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing high-quality service to pets and their owners. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the animals in our care while maintaining a clean and organized environment. Responsibilities Provide daily care for dogs such as feeding, walking, and supervising play and enrichment Maintain cleanliness in kennels, play areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management. Support dog training initiatives and reinforce positive behaviors. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners regarding their animals' needs and well-being. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities related to animal care. Requirements Previous experience in kennel care or animal handling is preferred. Strong ability to handle animals safely and effectively, including restraint techniques when necessary. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners.
