Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle pets of all sizes with care and compassion. We have 2 locations, one in Glendale and one in North Phoenix. www.crazydogladyaz.com Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping, brushing, and nail trimming for dogs and other pets. Assess each pet's grooming needs and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding services provided. Handle animals safely and calmly during grooming sessions to minimize stress. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with pet owners and addressing any questions or concerns. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to enhance service offerings. Assist in the care of animals in the facility as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as animal handling or veterinary assistance is preferred. Strong skills in dog handling and pet care, with an understanding of animal behavior. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or equipment. Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus but not required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being. Certification in pet grooming or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
